SPIRITUAL WARFARE

"Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand." (Ephesians 6:10-13)
Satan wages spiritual warfare against both Christians and unbelievers. This drawing illustrates a believer "clothed in the armor of God" which God tells believers to put on and is listed in Ephesians 6:14-18. The spiritual armor consists of the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith (which can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one--Satan), the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.
Jesus graciously extends his victory over Satan (through his death and resurrection) to all those who place their faith in Jesus as their personal Savior. (See "A Message"). As a result, "You, dear children [believers], are from God and have overcome them [demons], because the one who is in you [Jesus] is greater than the one who is in the world [Satan]." (1 John 4:4)
In this drawing I've alluded to Psalm 91, a famous confession of a person who takes refuge in God during times of attack. “If you make the Most High your dwelling—even the LORD, who is my refuge…You will tread upon the lion and the cobra [symbolic of demons]; you will trample the great lion and the serpent” (Psalm 91:9,13).
Based on Psalm 91, I have hidden a lion’s head and two serpents in this drawing.
Hint:
Look at the rocks.

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the GIFT of God; not of works, so that no man should glory.  For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God afore prepared that we should walk in them.  Eph. 2:8-10
