God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you." Hebrews 13:5 Unlike humanity He never breaks a promise.
Everyone knows what rejection feels like, and all of us have rejected someone in some way. The Lord put it on my heart to sculpt a woman watching her man leave, and to contrast mankind’s fickle love with the selfless love of Jesus. God’s “agape” love is not like our desires or feelings of fondness; its’ unconditional. Feelings often change when life’s problems reveal the shortcomings of the object of our affection. The Bible describes Jesus’ love as: perfect, sacrificial, ever-faithful, incomprehensible, powerful, unchanging and eternal.
